Inaugurated in 1894 thanks to the initiative of the Morandi family, the hotel has always been on of the most prestigious in the city.

On the "Imperatrice" seafront promenade right next to the beach, just a few hundred metres from the Casiṇ Municipale, the hotel is easily recognised due to its liberty architecture.
